Fastpitch Off-Season Training Opportunities

Off-season Fastptich training opportunities abound for Sidney 3rd-8th graders interested in preparing themselves for the 2023 Spring and Summer Fastpitch Programs. We are very fortunate to have access to the Goffena Indoor Training Facility and a number of volunteer coaches ready to help those interested, to improve your fastpitch skills. For Sidney athletes not playing a winter sport, this is a such a great opportunity to improve your fastpitch skills, so you are ready to compete for a spot on the Spring/Summer Fastpitch teams. 

Spring Fastpitch is Coming… Be Ready!

We are reaching out to Sidney 3rd-6th grade girls who have an interest in “Trying Fastpitch”. These “Basic Training” sessions will focus on all aspects of Fastpitch Softball – pitching, catching, fielding, hitting, etc. As you can imagine, inviting 3rd-6th graders will be a challenge as there will be players with various levels of experience and talent. Depending on our numbers, we will need to divide up based on experience.

During January and February, we are very fortunate to have access to the Goffena Indoor Training Facility for practice sessions. However, it is only available to our group on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6-7:15pm. 

Players will be expected to have a glove and a fielder’s mask, for safety’s sake.
